Hi, would anyone like to share their experience on either of these devices? How's the Logos experience on this 2 devices?
I have the iPad Air and the Logos mobile apps run very well on it.
I use it for reading, simple study and for notes when preaching / leading meetings etc
While the mobile apps don't have the full functionality of the desktop software they do what they do very well and run well on the iPad Air
Are there any specifics you are interested in?
I run the Logos app on my iPad Mini and am very pleased with performance. I much prefer it over using my iPhone.
Bruce and Graham's answers place the issue in a nutshell. Graham compares to the desktop (functionality). Bruce compares to his iPhone (text size, real estate, etc).
From what I've seen on the forum, the choice (iPad or Mini) is your comfort level with text size. Like Bruce, my 'compare' is the iPod. The mini is just perfect for reading, carrying around, and doesn't attract the dog for frisby throwing.
I use it for reading and simple study also and am very happy with it for those purposes. You do need a wifi connection for full functionality. I have the iPad Air (original air version).
Me too. No problems with the mini.
I have an iPad Air 2 (wifi, 128gb) which I love. Much faster than the iPad 4 I was using previously. Smaller dimensions (same screen size) and much lighter, too. Love the fingerprint sensor. The Logos Bible! app runs very well on it - I use that app for tens of hours of every week for seminary study / reading and sermon preparation (reading and taking notes).

Not really, just wanted feedback on general UI, and whether the extra screen size would be necessary. So just asking around for people's opinion.
I do have a macbook air which I would use often, but I think primarily I would be doing general reading, note-taking and cross referencing on it. Don't really enjoy reading off my computer screen.
Yup, I understand the pain of trying to use the app on the phone, the screen size pretty much limits the potential of the app.

Personally, I would not be happy with a mini... it is too small.
I've used both air and mini for reading and taking notes (including highlights). For note taking the air does also provide a larger keyboard, so that is my go-to device at the moment and it is not much heavier than the mini.
