Anyone know why the synchronization indicator on the Mac (running OS X 10.10) has a horizontal line above it? Is it a bug or does it indicate something?
That is a bug/glitch. I am not seeing it. Can you tell us about your computer? Have you restarted it?
27" iMac, running OS X Yosemite (10.10). The line changes colors, too. The Home page also has a UI glitch (entire right 1/4 of screen is gray) - see screenshot below:

Yes, I restart at least once daily. Still persists.
I don't know if logs would help faithlife or not. It couldn't hurt. See my signature line for instructions.
