Is there a way that I can find and review all of the sentences that I've highlighted in any one particular Logos book or resource? Grateful for any help.
Perhaps... but what version of Logos are you running? In L6, you can use the "Quotes" view of a notes document to see all of the highlighted passages from various resources... you would have to know which note files you used... which you can find by using the visual filter menu in the resource.
FYI - In the future it would be helpful to use the appropriate forum (i.e. L5 / L6 / iOS etc.)
I'm using Logos 5.
Question for you: What version of Logos are you running? If you have 6.0a, you're in luck, there's a very quick and easy way to do it. You can find out what version you're running by clicking on the Help menu (the question mark icon in upper right) and choosing About Logos Bible Software. The version number will appear in the Tech Support Information box:
If you have version 6.0a, then you can find all your highlighted resources by searching for {Highlight *} (include the curly brackets around it; that's crucial, otherwise you'd be searching for the word "Highlight" in all your resources). Note that this search syntax is saying you want to search for any text highlighted with any highlighting style (that's what the wildcard character '*' means -- match any style name). If you want to search only for text highlighted with a particular highlighting style, say YellowHighlighter, then search for {Highlight YellowHighlighter}.
If you have a version prior to 6.0a then you won't be able to do this yet. The closest you can come in Logos 4 and 5 and 6 is to search for the wildcard (*) and selected the highlighting style name in the search fields. But that is very very slow and not recommended. It sometimes doesn't actually work I think, and has been strongly discouraged by Logos development. So your best bet in that case would be to upgrade to the current version at your earliest convenience. There would be a cost for a crossgrade if you do that now, but if you wait until February, the core engine will be available for free.

I just read your question more carefully and realized you were asking for the case of "one particular" resource only. In that case, you can review all the highlighted text by using the Next Annotation feature within that resource. Click to drop down the menu that's labeled "Article" on the locator bar at the top of your resource. (If the locator bar is not visible, press Ctrl+Shift+L, at least on Windows that's the shortcut, not sure for Mac), and select Annotation. Then you can browse through all the highlights by clicking the down arrow to the right of that menu:
The up and down arrows look like they are greyed out but they're not. I'm not sure why they aren't black, but if you hover over them you'll see that they are active buttons:
Thanks, Rosie. That did the trick. There's another way too. Highlights are saved to a document called "Solid Colors" or "Emphasis Markup," depending on the style of highlight you used. When you open the aforementioned documents, you can find your highlighted text. The one caveat is that the saved document would not be confined to any one resource alone. It would have all of your highlighted text from any and all of the resources in which you highlighted text.
This feature is L6 only. You can either purchase a upgrade or wait until February when the L6 engine will be made available to everyone.
EDIT: I see you found another method. [:)]

Slight clarification: By default, highlights are saved to a "pallet specific" note file (the behavior you describe). The user can change the behavior (as I have). Personally, I create "resource specific" note files and save all of my highlights in those note documents.
How do you do that (i.e., how do you change the default location highlights are saved to from pallet-specific documents to resource-specific documents)? Grateful for the info.
Dave,
Thank you, but where do you get to that dialog? Thanks again in advance.
Hover over the right side of the pallet name in the highlightng tool.
Thanks.
Awesome. Thanks Rosie, I had often wondered how to do this myself.
Just to add to the other comments.
I know the request was related to Logos 5 but it's worth knowing you can do this in the mobile apps as well using the Highlights Tool
Is it possible to reorganize notes that have already been created from a palette specific document to a resource specific document or are you basically stuck with information as previously created and have to start from scratch?
You can... but it is tedious. You must open two panes and click and drag each note from one to the other.
