BUG: L6 doesn't download. (Win 8.1)

This has happened for me with every version of L6, but this time I got logs.

Every time I press the link to download resources, the notification comes in the tray that "Logos Bible Software is downloading updates". But it never progresses or shows a percentage. If I close Logos, reboot the system, then restart Logos, it will work, but I shouldn't have to do that.

I restarted Logos without rebooting. It hangs at "Preparing Your Library". (I know from Task Manager that neither the program nor the indexer are doing anything.) I killed both processes in Task Manager then started Logos again; no change. Going to have to reboot.

Last bump by me.

Rebooted system. The indexer automatically started, downloaded the resources, and completed indexing. Attached are the log files from this operation. 3660.Logos (2).zip

There's definitely some problem communicating with BITS (a Windows component used by the Indexer to perform downloads), but there's not enough information in the log file to identify what's going on. (And since BITS is part of Windows, we don't have a lot of insight into what it's doing.)

A program like BitsAdmin might provide some insight into whether there are stalled jobs or something else just clogging up BITS. It definitely sounds like some sort of transient problem since rebooting clears the issue. Do you tend to have problems downloading Windows Updates (which also uses BITS), or do those always seem to download normally?

I cannot see any problems in Windows Update's history; everything seems to be installing fine. (As it all happens in the background, I don't know what to check other than that.)

The only problem that I am aware of is with Logos, and this has happened ever since I updated to the first release of L6.
