Isn't it strange, I can't seem to locate the NIV Application Commentary on Ezra or Nehemiah either in Logos or in print. I suspect that they would be in one volume. Does anyone have any info regarding this?

Michael, last time the question was asked somehow I found the list on BestCommentaries including Ezra/Nehemiah, and that was just 3 months ago.

[EDIT] My best guess would be that the volume was slated for release in 2009, and was never updated. Then within the last couple months it was thought that it would be ready... and then it delayed again.
The Ezra, Nehemiah volume of NIVAC is currently being written by Tom and Donna Petter.
David, you seem to be the only person who knows anything about this. I do see the mention of the forthcoming publication on Dr. Thomas Petter's Gordon Conwell profile, but is there any other source of information you are aware of? Is the book still "forthcoming" now or do you know as little as I? It's odd that Zondervan doesn't have any details about it on their website. Also do you happen to know anything about the status of the Psalms Volume 2 NIVAC?

Hi, I was also looking for the Ezra-Nehemiah volume(s) -could be two volumes, one for each, depending if NIVAC author is going to follow the Hebrew or the Greek Bible..., though I think is going to be only one. The information available is on a HarperCollins Customer's Support, and sais it's going to be available until 2016. The HarperCollins link is:

There is no sue date for the Second Volume on the Psalms.

The print links won't work until it is published - I will fix the NT commentary link to a more appropriate one as soon as one is available - or you remind me of a new link.

Yes John of course is the main man - but I act as his UK based book editing "gopher". So he has very bravely provided me access to maintain a few data based things.
So if you have information to add or spot mistakes - send them on down (ideally with sources!).
