ESV Bible audio not available after 4.4.0 update
After the latest iOS update for iPad audio is no longer working for the ESV Bible; it's not even showing the speaker icon . The Lexham English Bible still works fine.
(Of course, that serves me right for updating when I wasn't 100% comfortable that I should 
)

I just noticed an update to the ESV Bible came down to my desktop, which I was having trouble with on my iPad. I removed/re-downloaded it on my iPad, and it works fine including audio. Try it!

Did not have to re-download ESV for iPad for audio to work on version 4.4.0, but iPhone still has no audio after remove and download.

I had removed and redownloaded the ESV bible before posting, and I just did it again and the audio is still not available. I may have to resort to reinstalling the app to see if that'll help, but I just reinstalled a few days ago (after the outage) and I'm in no frame of mind to do so again in a hurry. Crossway's ESV app (which now has audio) will have to suffice for now.

I know this question is meant for Bob but since I have the same problem I'll chime in as well. Well I tap on the audio icon from the Library view, all it does is open up the Bible and nothing happens after that. Also, when the Bible is open, the audio icon is not available:

If you view the Library and tap on the Audio icon next to the ESV, does it start audio?
When I tap on Audio icon next to the ESV it does not start audio. And with the ESV open I don't see the audio icon. I have restarted the app as well as the phone. Also, I am on IOS 8.1.1

Don't know if this will be helpful or not.
I usually keep a Lexham English Bible in the 2nd pane (iOS/mini/8.1.1). But none of my updated apps (4.4) can now read LEB. Blank screen with a spinning symbol and otherwise locked. Internet off or on.
Two of the above apps had pre-existing LEB's. But one didn't. So I downloaded an LEB into it. Now it's got a problem too (e.g. the downloaded resource didn't solve the LEB problem).
My 4th Logos app remains un-updated. It's LEB in the 2nd pane works fine.
None of the 2nd panes are linked to the 1st panes.
Which sounds like the metadata handling?

The ESV update Don mentioned upthread finally got around to the app (I got it for the desktop last night) and now the audio is working again.

Removed and Downloaded ESV again and my ESV Audio for iPhone is working again.
