Hi,
Fairly new to Logos. Is it possible to underline and bold text or highlight and bold or any other combo of markups? Thanks A TON!
Hi Ricky,
Welcome to the Logos user community.
Sure, that's possible! Create a Highlighting style with whatever formatting you want (bold, italic, colored background, colored font, boxes around, symbols before/after, etc.), and then you can apply that Highlighting style. You can create multiple Highlighting styles and apply shortcut keys to them to make it easier to switch between styles when you're highlighting as you read/study. You'll need to create your own Highlighting palette first, to put your own highlighting styles in, since you can't add styles to the built-in palettes. You can have multiple palettes too, for different purposes. E.g., one for Inductive Bible Style, one for Labeling.
You will find bold under "Font Styling" when you're in edit mode for a Highlighting style. You won't find an underline icon, but never fear: you can accomplish even more flexible underlining in the "Borders & Lines" section (you have the option of single, double, or triple underlines, and you can set the underline to any color). Basic highlighting is under "Background" (set a "Solid color" and pick your color from the dropdown). There are all kinds of other text effects and images you can add (or add your own) to get really creative.
Learn about how to create Highlighting styles here: https://wiki.logos.com/Highlighting .
And here's a great video tutorial about it: http://www.logosbiblesoftwaretraining.com/videos/highlighting/ (it was produced in Logos 4, but the principles still apply in Logos 5 and 6).
First, welcome! [:)]
Are you asking about resources, or notes that you make? If you want to make multiple markups, you will end up making multiple notes. If you want text in a resource bolded, underlined and highlighted:
Hi Ricky - and welcome to the forums
Have a look at https://wiki.logos.com/Highlighting to get you started.
Mark's tutorial video (based on Logos 4 but a lot of the principles are still valid) which is linked on that page is well worth watching.

...OR... you could just do what Rosie suggested. [:)]
EDIT: OR... you can watch the video like Graham suggested. [:)]
Wel that was quick. Thanks for the response. I'll be on about my marry way highlighting AND Bolding now that nothing (me) is in my way!
