Change Bible Texts

Sorry for the dumb question but I can't seem to find the right search terms to look for it.

In the center upper space which is the Bible texts, mine defaults to NASB, NIV, ESV, NRSV, and NLT. How do I add the UBS or BHS there and delete some of the others? I can do it manually but I would rather have it automatically open only the Bibles I want.

Thanks

What tool or guide are you using or are you referring to the search resource pane when you make this statement?

By default your top five prioritized Bibles are used in many locations in Logos 4. To change what appears you need to change your prioritized Bibles.

Not sure what you're looking at. "Center upper space" of what, the home page? Are you talking about your default Bible?

You can prioritize your favorite Bibles using the Library module. Just click on the icon that looks like a book (2nd from left) and click prioritize. It may be easier to do this by 'floating' the window (you can do that from the right-click menu on the icon). Put your favorite Bibles first and they should appear first in your Passage and Exegetical Guides.

Is this what you wanted to do? If not, please explain further.

Larry is talking about the Top 5 bibles which appear after a passage in triggered from the Go Bar on the Home Page.

Larry, you need to prioritise the 5 bibles you would like to appear (and your preferred commentary).

    Sorry for not being clear.

When I enter a passage on the home page in the search box, and it brings up the next page which has the left column being the passage guide and exegetical guide, the center is the Bible texts at the top (this is the one I am referring to) and the commentaries at the bottom, and the right has the information page and the text comparison.

I previously changed the preferred Bibles on the home page so that it is NASB, UBS, and NIV.

    Hope that is more clear.

Thanks for the help. I got it now I think.

That video won't load for me right now. I will have to try it on another computer when I get  chance. (And I can't watch the regular tutorials because my filter blocks everything on youtube, so I am stuck trying to figure it out on my own. )

    Larry,

    1) open the library

    2) Slect Prioritize

    3) enter the name of the resource you would like to prioritize

    4) drag the item across to the prioritize pane and drop in the position you would like it.

I have prioritized the NASB95, ESV, UBS4, NIV, and NET and when I run a passage from the home page those five Bibles (Testaments) appear in the section for Bibles when the study panel opens. If you prioritize correctly you will get similar results.

Thanks. Got that figured out, and I prioritized some commentaries as well.

Next (and hopefully last for a while) question: How do I get the list of commentaries in the passage guide window to sort according to the priority list?

    They should do that automatically.

If you have commentary series, make sure that you prioritize the series and not just an individual resource. In the library, right click on a commentary and select "prioritize this series"
