New Ipad Now I have a Search question

I just got an Ipad and I tried to do a search in NKJV for absent.

I got hits in NAB, NASB, NKJV and many other bibles.  How do I narrow down a search to just NKJV on the IPAD?

Also are my books downloaded onto my IPAD or do they stay on the web until I access them.  Can I access LOGOS when I don't have WIFI?

Thanks for your help

When searching on the iPad you can't select resources from your library - you can just use the dropdown (available if you tap "Top Bibles" to choose from Collections containing Bibles or Bibles you have recently opened. If NKJV is in that list you can select it.

If not, and if essential, you could create a collection on Logos 5 / 6 just containing the NKJV and it should be available on your iPad

Also are my books downloaded onto my IPAD or do they stay on the web until I access them.  Can I access LOGOS when I don't have WIFI?

By default they stay in the web until you explicitly download them - just accessing them doesn't download a copy to your device, it streams it over the Internet.

To download a resource for offline use, tap the resource, then tap the "i" button at the top right and tap "Download"

If you don't have Internet access you can access downloaded resources but some of the functions (such as Passage Guide and Text Comparison) won't be possible as these searches are done on Faithlife servers and "served" to the app

Graham thanks.  NKJV was not in my list yesterday when I had the problem but today after I posted my question I checked again and KKJV was there.  Seems like there should be a way to select which Bible/resource you want to search from.  Not sure I understand Logos' thinking in this or I don't understand something.

    Thanks for library info.
