BUG: Columns

I'm using L6 on a MAC and sometimes a resource decides to change from two columns to one. It is not set on auto and changing the settings does not alter it.

I have a layout saved where it is displaying as two columns and when I go to this layout it is fine until I advance a few pages whereupon it reverts to a single column.

I don't think that's specifically a Mac or L6 problem; I've had it happen a few times in L5 on Windows.

I'm not sure exactly why it happens. It seems like the alignment sometimes gets "off" due to maybe a wide element or something at a certain point in the text, then it takes a while for whatever it is that determines column layout to get back on track.

This occurs when some content that is loaded is too wide to fit in the column widths (often a table or image). Sometimes this loaded content may be off screen because resources load in more content than you can see.
