The four journal bundles are now on Pre-Pub:
The old Master Journal Bundle will be retired. If you pre-ordered it, you'll need to cancel it and pre-order the new one, which has close to 300 additional volumes that the old one didn't have.
I hope these collections meet your needs. They represent some of the deepest discounts we've ever done.
Which collection do you plan to buy? I picked 1280 vol with dynamic $425 only

If I owned 1-15 galaxy journals, which journals in master bundle are new to me. What is the best way to find it
Master Bundle (1280 vols) for $346 dynamic pricing.
My price went up around $200 from the last master bundle that was offered and then removed. I own Galaxy Journals 1-10. I don't understand how it went up $200. Is dynamic price fully activated?

We added almost 300 more journal volumes, making the collection almost 1/3 larger.
Is dynamic price fully activated?
Yes.
Yes, Phil you are correct. Thanks for adding the additional bundles. The price went up more than I expected. It's an excellent price overall.
Less than I expected. Much more bang for the buck. I am a happy camper!
Is there a way to determine which journals I already own? I have Volumes 1-15 of TJL, but my price comes to $455. Is this about correct for someone owning volumes 1-15 of TJL?
Thanks
For those already owning TJL volumes, I think you need to contact sales and ask them to send you a "new to me" spreadsheet. That will itemise all those resources in this set you don't already own.
If you're based overseas, like me, I normally email my sales rep for this.
I see that the old Master Journal Bundle is still offered on step 3 of ordering a base package. Will this be updated to allow the new journal bundles to be purchased as part of a base package purchase?
If so, will it be cheaper to do so?
Thanks for letting us know. We'll correct that.
No.
Are these tagged to appear in the journal section of the passage guide?
Ok two questions Phil
These are in Pre-Pub -
I know - I know - but I must ask - any idea when we will get them - do we have to wait for them all to be ready - and when will this be.
Next - a small but important one for scholars/academics
Numbers of journals have "article citations" in the information pane - but many seem not to - can these be enhanced to include them please!
Shalom
Oh yes and the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society (JETS)
seems a notable omission

Thank you for taking the time to make this Randy. I was really struggling looking through the journal options trying to figure out what belonged to what. Thanks for taking the time to make this.
Yes, thanks. Faithlife marketing would really be advanced with this type of comparison on the web page.
Agreed. Something like the chart explaining the differences in these bundles.
Super.Tramp"> It is available separately here: Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society (42 vols.)
It is available separately here:
Yes - but it is only a mere handful of the those available during the publishing run of the journal.
Oh, thanks for educating me.
The TJL Upgrade Bundle is missing a few journals. Anyway to add JETS, Tyndale Bulletin, Westminster, and Trinity Journal, just to name a few?
I think - based on skim reading another journals thread - that Logos hasn't manged to agree a licensing deal with the publishers of these journals at this time. Some journals have exclusive agreements with certain (other) distributors, so it may take a while for Logos to get these!
I'm thrilled to have the chance to buy some more journals. Its clear a lot of work went into this, and I am appreciative. However I do notice a few notable omissions.New To You - can't emphasize this one enough Southeastern Theological Reviewall but one issue of Southerns Journal, Tabletalk. JETS (even though I have the 42 volume edition already). Other than that though (and again its a small thing, hoping you get the rights to the rest in time) I am quite happy.I signed up for the pre-pub of the master journal bundle.
Westminster, Masters, Jets- just mention a few- I think a few to many bridges got burned.
Seems like the progress of gathering interest moves slowly, what if it would to stuck for years?
So all the old TJL sets have been removed...and we have a TJL upgrade bundle which doesn't actually include everything that was in the TJL bundles...only what Logos has subsequently licensed?

In a nutshell, yes.
The plan is to bring our journal label tagging to all journals. I'm pretty sure everything in these bundles will be tagged by the time they ship, but I can't promise that without confirming with the content production team. I'll check and confirm.
do we have to wait for them all to be ready - and when will this be.
We don't plan to ship these until they are complete. We may not wait until they are fully funded like we typically do with Pre-Pubs. We want to get them to you all as soon as possible. I'm afraid I can't give a complete date estimate right now. Assuming they are well received and get lots of pre-orders, I'd guess they could ship in 4–6 months. But please don't quote me on that.
They all should, eventually. I'm not sure if they all will when the Pre-Pubs ship, but I'll check with the team to see if we can make that happen.

That's the Galaxie version. It's high on our list to license directly from the rights holders.

I think I speak for a lot of users when I say we would rather have all the tagging done before a product ships than get it earlier without the tagging and have to wait for an update for it to be really useful. I know that seems counter to Faithlife's normal modus operandi, but I wish the production team would reconsider priorities and do this. They'll always be playing catch-up if they don't do it right the first time, and it gets users really frustrated.
I'll check and confirm
Thanks!
All of these are high on our wishlist. I'm sorry we don't have them yet. (I want them, too! ) We're working hard to license all the remaining journals from the TJL products that we don't have yet.
I'm thrilled to have the chance to buy some more journals. Its clear a lot of work went into this, and I am appreciative.
Glad to hear it!
New To You - can't emphasize this one enough Southeastern Theological Reviewall but one issue of Southerns Journal, Tabletalk. JETS (even though I have the 42 volume edition already).
We're working on these. Unfortunately, our Tabletalk contract doesn't allow us to bundle it with other journals. Maybe that'll change in the future.
We're hopeful that we'll be able to get all these.
Highly unlikely.
Unfortunately, yes. We're working hard to address that. We're sorry we don't have a comprehensive replacement yet. The good news is that we have a lot of additional content and journal acquisition is one of our top priorities.

Thanks for the feedback, Rosie. I'll pass that on and discuss it with the team.
More important than tagging for me is bringing the citations current ( especially Turabian 8), and fixing - especially old journals - that have VERY bad citations. I'm specifically thinking of Bibliotheca Sacra - though I have found this issue in many galaxie journals.
Phil,
You did a really good job with these bundles. I have L6 Platinum and included are two journals that are still in prepublication. Are these considered properly with dynamic pricing in the journal bundles? Will the price of the journals be increased once they come out of prepub, or are you using prepub to bring more attention to the products?
Thanks again for your work on these.
So even though we aren't supposed to quote you, it is possible th we will have to wait ANOTHER 4-6 months for these? Logos can't just get right to putting these out? How far behind does Logos expect to be in putting out the most recent material? Paying Galaxy $50 per year for a subscription sstill seems to me to be the better way to go.

Thanks! Glad you like them!

Yes. You own the licenses to the journals in Platinum, even though the files aren't done yet. You'll get the appropriate discount.
Will the price of the journals be increased once they come out of prepub, or are you using prepub to bring more attention to the products?
The prices will increase pretty significantly in some cases. The Master Bundle it's currently priced way below our normal best discounts, and that won't be able to last. We're using Pre-Pub to help fund them, draw attention to them, and give early adopters amazing discounts.
You're welcome!
. . . it is possible that we will have to wait ANOTHER 4-6 months for these?
I don't know how long it will take yet. I need to figure that out with the team. We're definitely eager to get these out as soon as possible. Keep in mind that this is a massive amount of content: 1,280 volumes x ~3 issues/volume x ~200 pages/issue = 768,000 pages (now, some are already done, but we need to add all the specialized journal tagging [biblio, author, passage, topic, etc.]). Also, some of the collections will likely ship sooner than others.
Logos can't just get right to putting these out?
I mentioned in another post that we may begin production before they are funded. We're evaluating the costs and discussing this internally. We want to get these out to you as soon as we can.
How far behind does Logos expect to be in putting out the most recent material?
We don't have a definitive plan yet, but I imagine we'll update these bundles multiple times a year (2–4?) and not just annually as you were accustomed to before. That means quicker access to the latest journals.

And I, for one, really appreciate this. Thank you!

As do I. Thank you for the discount.
Does someone have a complete list of what was in the original TJL that is not in the updated TJL?
I wholeheartedly concur with Rosie on this.
The last TJL published by Galaxie/TJL now on pre-pub
Thanks Mark. That is a lot that is missing. I hope at least they can get Tyndale Bulletin and Emmaus Journal. But this list is very helpful
And Bible and Spade!
