RC2 seems snappier!

RC-2 seems like it's much snappier than anything prevoiusly released. YAY....

I have a "test" that I've run all the way back to when I got V3...I do the same test to keep things even.

The test is:

Acts 7:21 & 22 Exegetical Guide

All words / all expanded. From the NA27.

I did this so I could see the effects of stripping my XP machine down; turning off services and such...to get the best performance out of it. (L3)

Best: L3 / XP / WITH SSD drive / and all services turned off:

9 seconds.

Best / L4 / Win 7 / with NO SSD drive / and "some" bells and whistles (certainly not stripped down)

8 seconds.

Clearly, L4 is faster for me.....thanks Logos!!

Definitely on a search and getting better.

I did the "Search for 'the'" - In Nov it took 33.54 seconds to find just under 22 million

Today, with more resources, it took 18.55 secs. to find just over 22 million. That's a 45% improvement in a month!

Way to go Team Logos!

mine was a tad slower, maybe if I hook the jumper cables from my truck to the back of the HD it will speed up a tad:

Actually, that was a photoshop touch up....my real time was 12.91 seconds...same as yours....lol...

I was trying to get a reaction out of you....
