My Logos will just not index! See also my post on the logos 5 forum for my other log files.
David,
it says Access to the path 'C:\Users\David\AppData\Local\Logos5\Data\eyxqt4b2.ygq\LibraryIndex\index-build.lxn' is denied.
So something got wrong with your permissions. Short term fix: run the indexer as administrator. Longer term: there's a Logos support article that might help.
Thanks, I will give that a try. Sometimes if I restart the computer and reopen Logos it seems to index. That does not always work however.
Fought this same battle a couple weeks ago. Dave Hooten saved me. Here's the thread on it-

Doc,
I'll give it a try next if this repeats after my next update.

Whoa!! This is not the same problem.
I'll say more a little later....
That's an older log (18 Dec) which may well be the problem. But it is not easily fixed - see https://community.logos.com/forums/t/97839.aspx
I'll respond further when I see the other logs that David mentions.

People are responding to an older set of logs you published in this thread. To resolve the confusion please go with the issue as outlined in my previous post, which is the same as in your other thread at https://community.logos.com/forums/t/98138.aspx (now in the Logos 6 Forum) and note that we are waiting on Faithlife for a solution to this permissions problem (on index-build.lxn & supplemental-build.lxn).
However, if anything has changed please respond with new logs in THIS thread
Dave,
I bit the bullet tried the delete the LibraryIndex folder suggestion on this thread…
It seems to have worked but I hope this is not needed after every update. On a separate but related issue, I really need to get an SSD drive to make this whole process faster…
New file updated, new reason to index and sure enough, no go.2352.Logs 26DEC14.zip
I even tried the run as administrator trick mentioned elsewhere... no joy there either...

Seems like it may again be necessary. But change Automatically Download Updates to NO until Faithlife come up with a solution.
Copy that.
Thanks for the tip, I didn't know you could do that.
Update 21 Feb
Still having the issues. The recent updates have caused me to do the delete the LibraryIndex folder trick a couple of times. I REALLY hope someone comes up with a fix.
My next step will be to try to delete the whole package and try a fresh reinstall. Boy will that take some time...

You can eliminate the download if you save your resources folder i.e.
