Cannot select text in images resources (L5 Mac)

Occasionally media resources (e.g. Logos Bible Images, 1000 Bible Images, etc.) contain helpful descriptive text that I would like to copy to notes or clippings documents. Unfortunately the text is not selectable in these resources, as far as I can tell.

I've searched the forums and didn't see this issue addressed, although this thread touches on related concerns.

Is there a setting that enables text selection in images resources, or is image resource text selection a feature that is under development or will be?

No, there is no setting. The thread from the L6 forum you linked to is about copying the images, not the text (and others than the thread opener had no issues doing so).

I have no working L5 installation to test this (much less a Mac), but under L6 there is no problem to copy the text accompanying the media and paste it into a note or someplace else outside Logos.

Thanks, NB.Mick! Yes, the other thread is a "cousin" to the issue, but focuses on images rather than their accompanying text. I'm glad to see that you can easily copy the image resource text in L6 for Windows. Presumably it should work on L6 for Mac as well, when I upgrade.

Yes, need to use Print/Export so can Copy to Clipboard followed by pasting text (screen shot has paste into Text Edit). Image is not included in Copy to Clipboard; can right click on original image or Print/Export image to copy.

Note: using Verbum 5.2b SR-8 on OS X 10.10.1 that can be used at the same time as Logos 6.0b Beta 3.
