BUG: Where are the savings???

1) Where are the discounted prices?

2) Where are the percentages off?

3) Where is the sorting by Savings? (It's sorted by lowest price (which also means the best deals are hidden at the end))

4) Some of these don't have a discounted price on the product page either.

5) This bug was there all through December's deals as well. Don't you think it's time you fix it if you want to sell something? I for one never bothered checking out December's deals. Too much work clicking through to each page. I'm not checking these out either until you fix them.

6) At least 1) and 2) exist on verbum.com as well -- though there I'm not sure they ever worked. One reason of many I don't use that site.

I get these for most of the items - including one you reference above

I am using Chrome on Windows 8.1

But the ones towards the end don't show any savings - examples below

It's also interesting that in your display the USD cost for "Bitesize Theology" is $5.99 whereas in mine it is $5.40

You show "The God Reality" at $6.95 whereas I have it at $6.49

All rather confusing

Replicated so likewise puzzled. Collections lack What's New so evaluating discounted price is challenging.

I do - and that could be relevant here. On my wife's account (who doesn't get academic discount) in the browse listing Bitesize shows at $5.99 just as yours does.

That $5.95 seems to be the standard price which - I guess - is why no savings are shown

On its product page, "Bitesize" is discounted to $4.95 (17% off) for me.

And I see that as well and that is the price which appears in the cart

So it seems that for some products which are tagged as being in the sale the browse listing is still showing the standard price which is why no savings are shown.

Hopefully Faithlife will be able to look at this, determine what is going on and resolve it.

During January everyone can purchase Bitesize Theology for $4.95. If you're not seeing that price in your search results, click through to the product page, and you will see it.

We're updating the back end systems that allow us to create sales and other promotions. Ultimately this will allow us to create more varied and interesting offers.

In the short term, the search results page is not consistently showing "On Sale" or "Savings". This is on our high priority list and we're actively addressing it.

In the long term, you can expect to see more in the way of personalized offers and bundled promotions.

We've got improvements to the sort order also included in these conversations, but coming on a different timeline.

Bitesized Theology does carry different discounts for staff and students with Academic roles based on whether this book is required reading at their institution. However, everyone should be seeing the $4.95 price on the product page this month.

We'll have the search displaying "On Sale" and "Savings" very soon.

And you have to admit your message on Jan 2 belongs on a retailer's bad dream list. No offense intended; back when I used to 'exec' retail (as many on the forum), if it wasn't ready by October, it wasn't going to be ready. Reduce the forecast, and plan on the stock price.
