You can get a permalink to a post on Facebook, and to a post on the Logos forums, so how about a way to do that on Faithlife discussions?

    Rosie,

Discussions (topics) are addressable given the URL of the thread. For example, here's a 'Test' discussion on the Logos Bible Software group.

There's no share control from the UI, so this may not be obvious to the typical user.

If you wan to share a post by URL, you'll have to inspect the HTML and find the comment path.

Thanks, Jim. I did not think to try that. Anyway, that's fine for geeks like me, but I still think there should be way to get the link from the UI for those who don't read HTML and don't know how to go mucking about in web page source code. However I guess it's probably only geeks like me who would ever want to past on a direct link to a post on there (like I was wanting to here), so it's probably a low priority.

EDIT: Never mind, I discovered that you can get the URL from the UI. Just click on the timestamp next to the post. Doh!

    That yields his: https://faithlife.com/comments/268437
