Torah reading plan
Does anyone know how to set up a weekly Torah reading plan? I am new to the program. I had the Libronix system about 12 years ago, and just this past week bought the Logos 6, and I am very lost. I have been using PC Study Bible, and decided to convert my studies to Logos 6 but I am very frustrated in getting around. I am sure with time, it will be fine, but right now, well...

If by "weekly" you are referring to "weekly Sabbath readings" CJB gives one option:
logosres:cjbib;art=scriptread;off=2169
This gives Haftarah and Brit Chadashah readings if you are interested in them.
As you may know there are a variety of such plans available, and one must find what works best or agrees with their particular "persuasion."

For Sabbath reading I open CJB and ESV. [this week's reading (1-10-15) begins at Shemot 1:1]
In the left column is CJB twice - one to stay at the readings index (as above), the other to follow the reading (as below) .
I start the reading by linking the reading panes together. Then in ESV I enter Ctrl-R (Cmd-R for mac) and let Mr.Heath do the reading. (Some insist that the reading must be done by the "living voice," not by recording). As ESV progresses, CJB pages with it.
When I get to the end of the Torah Portion, I unlink CJB and ESV so ESV can page down while CJB indicates the reading range so I know when to stop ESV and progress to the next section indicated by CJB.
In the screen shots the text is set to larger than normal reading so if I connect to a monitor others can read more easily.This may not be THE answer for which you were looking, but I wanted to give you and idea of what is possible. (I hope the instructions are understandable).

Shalom David. I really appreciate the help, it is just what I am looking for right now. I am fairly new at this, but I think what you have suggested will help in what I am doing. I have only had Logos for a few weeks now, and I look forward to learning a lot.

I just read your post on who you are. I live in a small town in Missouri. I came to the Hebrew Roots about three and a half years ago, and I have not found anyone here in our town who is teaching, so I started to teach the Torah, based on what I have learned. I did it, because of the scripture in Acts 15 which says that Moshe has those who teach him in every town, every Shabbat... With the help of the Master, we are growing. Blessings again!
