Any news on the marketing specialist?
I hope there's soon anyone available. I would like to see any progress in processing digital Dutch books, esp. bibles!

Unfortunately not yet, no. We are still looking for qualified candidates that would be willing to work with us here at our Bellingham Office. If you, or anybody that you know, is interested, please reach out to me at thomas.reiter@faithlife.com .

Dear Thomas
I watched your introduction on faithlife (https://today.faithlife.com/2015/03/10/tremper-longman-on-the-exodus-movie-logos-goes-german/) and I liked it. One special topic attracted my interest: when you were speaking about publishing for the Dutch market.
This has my special and deep interest. Some six months ago, when I was searching for a Dutch HSV Bible for my newly bought IPad, I contacted the Royal Jongbloed Uitgevers (http://royaljongbloed.com), and asked why they didn't publish a Logos Version of that Bible. The answer was very astonishing for me: We are eager to publish our HSV Bible in Logos format, and we have contacts with Logos for a long time (several years) now, but that contacts seem to be dead. There is a 'complete radio-silence' on the part of Logos. We want to publish, but there is no reaction from their site, despite action from us.
I understand you are searching for a Dutch Marketing Specialist. But as this search takes far too long, please consider what you can do for us personally. I think, if Logos publishes some modern translations in Dutch, market share for Logos will grow and perhaps a Dutch Market specialist will be found too, and perhaps more easily.

Hi Hans, I've searched the internet and contacted Jongbloed for a NBV/HSV for years now and i'm kinda fed up with it.
Few weeks ago i created these myself (Logos Personal Books). Both NBV and HSV have footnotes, annotations and so on. Works as a charm.
Has to do something with Moses, coming to and Mountain (or alike connotation ;-)
Indeed it is hardly imaginable that these important translations are not there in Logos for so many years.. Also missing the 'Naardense Bijbel'.

We whole-heartedly agree and that is why we are happy to let you know that we have just signed a contract for the NBV and will soon be posting it! We will continue our efforts into adding more literature while we try to find the perfect candidate!
Let me know if you have any other questions,

Thanks for the good news!
The NBV was - some years ago - in my SESB version, but disappeared from the site.
I hope more versions will follow! I'm eagerly looking forward to them!

Dear Thomas,
Do you have any information about publishing Dutch Bibles. I'm 'a little bit' disappointed in Logos for the VERY long delay. I do have the SESB 3 version with several Dutch translations and they work fine (NBV,NBG,GNB etc). But why not publishing them again WITH THE NEW HSV TRANSLATION.
For now I'm using a self made PBB-version and I have bought some Dutch Bible translations from another software company (Olive Tree).
I don't like that, but I really need a good digital edition!
