Can or how can I generate a custom reading plan to include literature that I do not have in my logos library?
Thank you!
Hi Jason - and welcome to the forums
Logos reading plans are designed to act on resources in your library so I can't think of a way of doing it.
How are you hoping this would work?
Graham
Thank you for the welcome Graham.
I have a PDF file of some reading that is required of me. I was hoping to consolidate all my reading via the reading plan feature in Logos.
Also, I have hard copies of books that I would like to generate a reading plan for.
Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.
Jason
The only way around it - and I don't think it's worthwhile - would be to create a personal book with the chapter/section headings of your chosen book, and to use that in your reading plan.
1. Take the reading list and convert it to .docx format
2. Make the name you want for each days reading a heading
3. Make a personal book out of the .docx reading list
4. Create a customized Logos Reading Plan from your Personal Book.
This can create a reading list where each "reading" is nothing more than the reference to what you are reading externally.
Thanks MJ, but that's a little (actually a lot) more work than I wanted to do. Oh well, I suppose I will balance out my tech usage with good ol' fashioned pen and paper.
Thanks!
Mark, I don't think it's worthwhile either.
Thanks.
