Open the Library panel and enter "local:" in the Find field.

Logos, Vyrso, iPhone, iPad = no success yet with "local" in the Find field. I must not be doing it right.

"local" is not the same as "local:" - the colon at the end is required.

"local" is not the same as "local:" - the colon at the end is required.
Also, the quotes themselves should not be entered in the field, so to rephrase - enter "local:" as a case sensitive entry with no quotes (and don't forget the colon).

You can always just put the iPad in "Airplane" mode and it will only display the books that are resident on it.

Yes, but local: is just as easy and is less inconvenient.

I'm going to have to go with airplane mode on this one. 2 clicks vs 7. That'd be 72% fewer clicks.
I just upgraded my paperwhite to a hmmm, I forgot. I'd dispise it if I had to type in local: every time (that'd be case-sensitive without the quotes). On the Paperwhite, already I have to be in the right view, settings, airplane mode for 'off' (if I didn't just select 'On-Device').

Ah. But if you do that, you lose your sync and your ability to send and receive phone calls. [;)]
Logos DOES need to make it simpler, but until then local: is just fine. Plus, you can start to learn how other filters work:
- edition:e = Vyrso books
- author:stanley = all books by that author
- type:lectionary = all books of that type
- series:word = all books in that series (i.e. Word Biblical Commentary)

Yes, Voyage. I think that's a strange name. Maybe the cruise ship is so boring, only an over-priced paperwhite will work.
It's somewhere on the Amazon shipping dock (I always select free shipping, to 'age' it just a few more days). Thus I'm not sure yet.
It was a hard 'sell' since I don't need it at all. 50% more pixels (the ones I can't see on the paperwhite). Lighter (but now heavier for the cute case I got for it). Buttons to turn pages (that one was of value; I always get the wrong direction).
Actually, after deleting the order and re-doing it, the key selling factor was 'GO' (Japanese strategy major headache). The older paperwhite gets full duty to demonstrate my ignorance.

local:
My dumb. But "dumb" doesn't get all the credit, I need glasses. I actually tried a period, but not the colon. Well, this is my happy day! Thanks!

I would like an option to display all the titles that are not local. Something like notlocal: or local:- or something. That way I could easily see what books are not downloaded.
