Creating timeline events with Personal Books

In the release Notes in 6.1 Beta 3 I found this :

"Date datatypes in Personal Books will now correctly generate Timeline flags, and enable the Timeline Events visual filter."

Does that mean we can create our own timeline events using Personal books and will these show up in the timeline. How can I do this?

No, it doesn't meant that.

It just means that if you include a [[Date]] reference in your book, you can enable the "Timeline events" visual filter, which will show a "hollow" flag icon next to your date, which will open the Timeline to that date when it's clicked.
