Reading plan messed up on beta 3 and iPad/iPhone

I guess I'll have to cross-post this as it's messed up too on the iPhone/iPad

As you can see from the picture, I have competed the reading through Jan 14, and the bar to "Start" shows for Jan 16, but it still shows a Stop Reading for Jan 14. If you just scroll down in the resource and scroll back up, the Stop reading is gone.

There is a second problem - on the beta 3 desktop, and on iPad/iPhone, there is no Stop Reading bar!

I have reported this before, it seems this problem occurs on different resources.

The same issue occurs with the "DIY Bible Study". I think that it has something to do with the new reading plan features of L6. This has been discussed, but I haven't seen a fix for it (other than to create a plan from scratch using the basic plan format). It is a real nuisance, and re-creating a per-defined plan is a lot of work (for me anyway).

Waiting for the fix also, and hope that the fix comes before the end of the 1-year plan.

Edit: BTW: This issue was present long before Beta 3, it was present in the initial L6 release.

Thanks Erwin for the reply, I remember seeing it too on the DIY plan.

One point, I created this reading plan just about 2 weeks ago, after the changes in the reading plan software. It was probably on 6.1 beta 1 or 2.

Some of these things takes some time for us users to discover, because we don't use every single feature every day. I just happen to remember this one from awhile back because I learned of the issue when the DIY first was released. Another workaround nuisance is that if you scroll several pages beyond, then scroll back up, the beginning and end  markers appear to correct themselves, however, on the next day, the issue is back again. Some have given up and cancelled the reading plan, but I really want to get through this, so I put up with it for now.

There's an active case for this issue. I've added a link to this thread, we'll let you know when we have a fix.

I saw this too. I was one who gave up on DIY because this was so challenging. I was sad to see it was in other plans too, I thought it was only DIY because that was not made by me. I created my own reading plan for the resource above, I was sorry to see the problems again.

I'm kind of thinking that this issue will be with any plan and resource that uses the new reading plan features of L6. I don't understand the technicalities behind it.

Happy to hear that it is fresh on the minds of Logos, and hoping for a somewhat speedy fix.

This should be fixed in 6.2 Beta 1.
