Calendar Functionality

1) Is there a way to delete one instance of a recurring calendar item in a Faithlife Group without deleting the entire series?

2) We cannot currently create a calendar item that would occur on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month, correct?  It does appear that it could be setup for recurring every two weeks, but in order to set it up for the specific weeks of each month it appears that the only option is the schedule one entry for the 2nd Tuesday and another entry for the 4th Tuesday of the month.

If indeed the functionality for these types of calendar editing is not currently available in Faithlife Group Calendars, is it under consideration or on the drawing board?

Regarding number 1, the system does not support pruning specific days from a series. I know how useful that feature is from other calendar systems.

For number 2, again, the system does not support that. Your workaround is the best option.

Oh, and I found a bug in the system where 'Save' is currently broken for any calendar item with a recurrence set. We're making significant changes to the system right now, which is generating a few unintended side effects. We'll get that patched as soon as possible (hopefully tomorrow).

(My answer to number 1 is from memory, since I can't set a recurrence to verify. :-)

Long term, yes, we intend to make calendars much more awesome. I imagine many people would benefit from the features you describe and will include them in future planning discussions.

Thank you so much for the feedback and questions. Keep them coming. We're trying to use Faithlife as much as possible, so if you have more questions, it would be great to see them in Faithlife Groups 101.

Thank you very much for the thorough reply, Jim.  I'm grateful to you and the team, and I will look forward to the additional calendar functionality in the future.  In the meantime, get some rest!  It's a bit late for your work day!
