Are we going to see custom reading plans able to sync to iOS any time soon?

Does this explain why my iPad homepage shows "Calvin's Institutes Group Reading Plan" (which I joined and am reading on desktop) but when I attempt to join it on my iPad it endlessly tries to connect?
