Split Panel Behavior
I have an Ipad 2 running latest Logos Ipad app and IOS 8.1.3. I need help with the split panel behavior. I have the left window open to the14th chapter in Luke and the right panel open to the pulpit commentary Luke (II). If I swipe up in the left panel to access Passage Guide it opens in the right panel replacing the Pulpit Commentary. If I now click on any link in the right panel results from passage guide they always open in the left panel replacing the Bible passage that was originally open. I would instead like the resource to open in the existing (right) panel and leave the left panel on the screen at its original Bible chapter in Luke. The reason is I would like to access different resources that analyize the passage in luke but keep that passage always there. I have tried it with Linnk on and off and sync/no sync. Is this by design? If it is I do not think it is very useful as I would like to keep the original bible passage open and open different resources in the right panel without having to select the right panel and then go to library search for the resources that I just brought up in the right panel via "Passage Guide" option

What you describe is how the app currently works.
Once you have finished with the resource opened from the Passage Guide you can click the "back button" on that panel and you will get back to the Bible.
But I can see how it would be useful to have the resource opening "over the" Passage Guide and you could then get back to the Passage Guide after dismissing the resource.
I don't know what others - or the Faithlife team - will think of this.

In addition, you can use a left/right two-finger swipe in either panel to navigate back/forward.

Yes Kevin and Graham I am aware of those features however it does seem counter intuitive to bring up a guide on a particular passage and then when you try to go to the reference you have to always reset the original text you were looking at. It makes much more sense to leave open the resource you are trying to analyze. I sent a request into Faithlife support and we will see what they can do. I suggested they add and option(s) to link/sync behavior so you could pin a window for instance. But thanks to you both for the suggestions.

Our support team doesn't field requests; please see https://community.logos.com/forums/t/65557.aspx for how to post mobile suggestions.

Actually posted in the link but didn't seem to work further it looks like there are so many request it would get lost in the noise. So I additrionally sent the request to tech@logos.com and recevied a reply already that they would respond. Just wanted to make sure that there wern't other features to use for link/sync panel as the guides provided are minimalist at most.

As a Faithlife employee on the mobile team I work every day with the developers that (if your request is approved) will be writing the code. We set up the mobile UserVoice for customer suggestions. Everything is tracked and voted on by other users and they don't get lost in the noise. Sending requests to customer support or tech support is not the best way to get your suggestions heard.

I posted my suggestion on the split panel for the Ipad at the appropriate site as you suggested. Hopefully you will now find it there. I tried to be as clear as possible about the feature/modification.
