Split panel view and font sizes

I am running the Bible app (version 4.4.7) on a Samsung Galaxy Avant (running Android 4.4.2 [Kit Kat]). In the top half of the screen I have the ESV Bible, with the ESV Study Bible notes in the bottom half. Can I change the font size in each panel independently? (I want the notes to be smaller than the Bible text.)

I seem to remember being able to do this in a previous version of the app running on my old iPod Touch.

You are probably thinking of another app since we have never supported per-panel text resizing in the mobile apps. I think its a good idea though and will write up an inquiry case.
