The Kindle Fire can run the Logos Android app which will give you access to your resources and notes / highlights.

Highlights are synced over the Internet so you will need to be connected for synchronisation to take place but once that has happened you can access notes when offline.

Resources can be accessed offline once downloaded to your device but some of the advanced features (such as Passage Guide and Bible Word Study) require Internet access

Excellent, very helpful.  I am enjoying marking both my NASB bibles in Logos and print edition and would enjoy portability.  Will the 8GB version support or should I be looking for more GB?

Hopefully someone with a Kindle Fire can comment on space requirements - but I would expect you would find it limiting. My Android phone has just 8GB and I don't use it heavily for many data resources (I have no music downloaded and just a few pictures) and there isn't much free space.

It's worth saying that you don't need to download resources to the device so long as you have Internet access as you can access the resources remotely - through the app - on Logos servers. The user interface is exactly the same whether or not they are downloaded - but it is a tradoff between space and access times and availability.

MORE!  But the better answer is how do you plan to use the App?  If you just intend to read a few books 8 Gig will be fine but it you plan to use the tablet as your main Bible Study tool you might need 64 Gig.

[[Sorry not much help as what you will need depends on what you intend to do.  I use my Fire as a reader and have only 91 resources loaded]]

I cannot speak to space requirements, but I use the Logos app on my Nook HD+ mostly for Bible reading with a commentary or two.  I bring it with me to church for Bible Study - gives me the Bible and another [silent] voice or two as I follow the pastor's study.  The Kindle Fire can also read books that have been sent to Kindle from within LOGOS - giving a different, but also helpful, reading experience.

    Blessings,

I purchased a Kindle Fire HD 6 about a month ago to use during church services. I was also concerned about the amount of space I would need so I purchased the 16 GB version for $20 more. I pretty much use it exclusively for the Logos app (I also own a Kindle Paperwhite) and have downloaded about 10 of my most used bibles and books. I have access to wi-fi so my download needs are pretty minimal. On my 16 GB device, the basic Fire OS seems to take up a little under 4 GBs leaving slightly over 12 gigs free. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied but glad I opted for the extra space.

On a side note - I purchased it with the "sponsored screensavers" and have not found them to be a problem as it is just shown when opening the device. I have also found that if you shut down the device rather than letting it sleep, the sponsored ads don't appear immediately after booting up. To me its not worth paying the $15 bucks to remove them.

Thank you Floyd.  My use will be minimal and limited also as use my desktop for access to all the resources.  I contacted Amazon and was advised that the app only uses 15mb.

Paul, thanks for sharing your helpful insights.  I ordered the basic 8GB as I plan to primarily use it for one Bible with only one or two resources.  Primarily I am interested in reading, highlighting, and  accessing notations while away from my desktop.  I  am sure that sponsored ads will not be a problem.  The price well under $100 was also attractive.  I hope that I have not made a wrong choice over the 16GB option.

David, thanks for your weighing in.   Your "better answer" is well advised!
