Please give us roation lock back
The roation lock option is still present if you open the app on your iPhone but this setting is not available any more if you open the app on your iPad.
Please give us this option again!

This was removed from the iPad app (and I assumed from the iPhone one) a long time ago as per https://community.logos.com/forums/p/31641/235704.aspx#235704
Are you looking for application-specific rotation controls?

I was not aware of this. I think this is a great option when you are reading in the bed.
This setting is still present on the iPhone.

Doesn't the device-level control give you what you want?

I use the side switch on the ipad. There it's an option in Settings > General titled "Use Side Switch to:". Options are Mute and Lock Rotation.

In my case, no. I NEVER want any reading app in landscape mode. I NEVER want any video service (I.e. Netflix) in portrait mode. Having support at application level would be appreciated.

[Y] Exactly.

[I]Yes. I'm not usually so baffled - Why is this unappreciated by some app developers?
I have sorely missed the app level display rotation lock since moving to Android after having to abandon a perfectly fine iPod touch to the unrelenting march of progress. (I was slow to upgrade the iOS and missed the more current Logos app build by a week - Apple policy only allows support/hosting one build at a time.).
I made a request to add app level rotation lock in the Android forum and received no concurring responses, thus I arrive here, simpatico.

Missed this my first time through the thread.

[*]Nice.
Options are Mute and Lock Rotation.
[^o)]This choice of option means app level control is still desirable to me.
