can a logos smart tag be set up to work in Microsoft home and student 2013? I am getting a new computer and 2013 will be installed. I have 2010 now but what about 2013?
Smart tags were updated to work with Office 2013 as per https://community.logos.com/forums/p/65493/460390.aspx#460390 but then there were other requirements for Logos 6 and 64-bit environments.
What OS will you be using and what version of Logos?
Thank you Graham. I will be using windows 8.1 with logos 5
I know there were some issues when running Logos 5.3 (which is 64-bit) and 32-bit office. It is discussed in the thread above and more information is available at https://wiki.logos.com/Smart_Tags#Smart_Tags_and_64-bit_Logos
i dont personally use Smart Tags but I believe people have it working fine in the environment you describe
I hope Randy to see this it.

I've had Smart Tags running successfully on Win 8.1 with Logos 5 & now Logos 6, Office 2010 (runs the same as 2013).
With Logos 5 and a new computer just install 32-bit Office 2013 (the default) and there should be no problems. See https://www.logos.com/articleviewer/530 for activating the Smart tag in Word 2013. If 64-bit Office is installed then see this wiki article.
If you later decide to upgrade to Logos 6 (64-bit) you will lose the smart tag but it can be restored via this wiki article.

I have tried everything to get smart tags running - all the steps. I would like to see Logos include a fix to this feature in a future updated release.
I am not a programmer and really don't have the time to spend hours trying to get it to work.
Jesse I had the same problem but not when I was running windows 7 but when I went to windows 8.1 with a new computer it did not work. On windows 7 I was working with office 10 of which I still have and it works. On my new lap top with the windows 8, office 13 it would not work. I upgraded to logos 6 silver and low an behold it was on there and is working fine. It is strictly a microsoft thing and not logos. I was becoming very good at the logos way of posting scripture into my papers. I cannot tell you how it came to be because I tried everything everyone told me to do. All I know that Microsoft allowed it to be on logos 6 along with office 13.

Thanks for your help.
I am running windows 7 professional with 2010 office.
I tried and tried to get smart tags to work. I guess that I will have to stick to the copy bible verse tool.

Faithlife should have provided a fix for one aspect of 64-bit Logos that is shown as a 'fix' in the various threads/wiki, but it is an unsupported feature so don't expect anything more than advice through the forums.
