As per THIS THREAD, the midi files don't appear to be working. I am currently running 6.1 RC1. When I click on the song, the media controls appear and claim to be playing the tune, but nothing comes out of my system.
To test, I was using the "Logos Hymnal"
macOS, iOS & iPadOS |Logs| Install

Also on the Mac when you right-click in either hymnal there is no option to download the midi file your computer

Noticed the very same thing this afternoon doing some last minute preparation for a sermon tonight. I am not a beta tester and see that the thread is in that section, but seems to affecting all OS 10.10 users. Guess it is still not fixed.

This should be fixed in 6.2 Beta 1.
Just fyi - I am running OS X 10.9 and have the problem there as well.
