On OS X, logos 5's scrolling is very slow and choppy compared to everything else in OS X.
Why?
Welcome to the forums, Sasha.
There could be a number of reasons for the problem that you describe. If you have several panels linked together, that can do it.
Are there horizontal marks in your scroll bar? Those are called Bookmarks and they can also slow down scrolling. You can turn them off in Tools | Program Settings:
Ultimately, however, Logos is a very processor intensive app, much more than most of the apps that typical users run. What are your computer specs? Is your Mac a newer Mac or an older one?
P.S. You can also upgrade to Logos 6 for free (If you are running OS 10.9 or newer). It may or may not speed things up, but it probably won't make things worse.

Welcome to the forums! I'd love to help offer some suggestions to improve your scrolling speed or better yet help to identify a bug or problem in the app we can fix. Can you tell me what you are scrolling? If it's a resource panel (i.e. a book), what visual filters are you using? Is it in a link set? Which resource is it?
One way to help me see what you are seeing is to provide screenshots or, better yet, a screencast of the application that demonstrates the behavior you are seeing. (the more specific the better) Many users have had good luck using Jing or a tool like that to post screencasts.
Another useful thing sometimes is to have logs/samples for developers, like myself, to try to "look under the hood" for you. https://www.logos.com/support/logos6/mac/report-problem
I hope we can improve your experience.

Ok, I downloaded the Logos 6 engine and it is quite a lot faster but still slightly choppy.
Great! Now that you are using L6, make sure to use the L6 forum, where you will be more likely to get targeted support. If after a bit you still find things choppy, it would be good to create a new thread, explain the issue, and provide as much relevant details as possible. For example: What are you scrolling? What is in your layout? etc.
