Orthodox Study Bible

One of my favorite quick resources for Eastern Orthodox readings of scripture is the Orthodox Study Bible published by Thomas Nelson. I know others have expressed interest in this resource for Logos and I would like to add my voice to theirs. Perhaps this could be a new addition to the Logos product list in 2015.

The Nelson Orthodox Study Bible i.e. St. Athanasius Academy of Orthodox Theology is available at The Orthodox Study Bible: Notes | Logos Bible Software. It is standard for the notes to be published independent of the Bible text so that users don't have to pay for the same Bible text multiple times. The question is one of what editing to the translation was done.

Ancient Faith Orthodox Study Bible i.e. Antichochian editors is not available. I would like to see this added for comparative purposes.

The way Logos has always done "study bibles" is they publish the notes and you link them up with any translation you like so they scroll together, rather than forcing just one translation on people or having to produce multiple different versions with different translations. They never produce entire study bibles (as published in print) as one resource.

The print edition of the OSB comes with the St. Athanasius Academy Septuagint for the OT and the New King James Version for the NT. Logos already has NKJV, but it would be a valid request to ask Faithlife to bring out the St. Athanasius Academy Septuagint translation.

The thing you wouldn't be able to do would be to link a different version for the OT with the NKJV for the NT so that when you navigated around in that bible, it would jump to the correct version depending on whether you were in the OT or the NT, and the OSB Notes would scroll along together with either bible.
