Split screen crash

Help requested:

Using Logos 5 android version, the app crashes when reverting from split screen mode to a single screen. This is a new problem; I could previously do it with no issues. Perhaps related to a recent software update. 

I can go from single screen to split screen no problem, it is only when I am done with split screen and want to go back to one screen does the problem occur. The app crashes completely. 

Galaxy Tab S, Model SM-T800

Android version 4.4.2, kernal 3.4.39-2947015

Logos version 4.4.6, build 437

    Hi Daniel

    I can reproduce this on my Motorola phone running Logos 4.4.6 on Android 4.4.4

    I have sent Support Info to the Faithlife team which will hopefully provide them some more information and pointed them to this thread

    Hopefully we will hear something from them after the weekend

    Any idea when the case could be resolved? This issue has really impacted my ability to use Logos android.

    It has been awhile since anyone wrote on this. But something happened and I wanted to add my issue as well. I have a Nexus 7 2013 with 32G storage about half full. My library in Logos is very large. I used to be able to work in English in the top and Greek or Hebrew in the bottom or other such set ups. Suddenly when I try to open something from the library in split screen it always crashes. It has become completely unstable. Also the text in both English and Greek/Hebrew seems blotchy or indistinct. The Greek text is unreadable. I uninstalled and re-installed Logos and then I did a complete factory reset...what a pain that is....with no result. Everything else on the tablet works as before except Logos. I'm seriously bummed.

    Hi Charles,

    I'll take a look at this tomorrow, I'm currently not in the office.  Which version of the app are you running (it's shown in the Help panel)?  Also, does the blotchy text issue just happen in Low light mode or in other color schemes?  Another customer discovered a low-light scheme issue but to my knowledge that just occurs in the 4.5.0 beta versions.  Sorry for the troubles.!

    The crash happens no matter what light mode, low light or sepia or white, but the unreadable text happens in low light only. My version is 4.5.0 build 412

    I have been sending the crash reports regularly.

    Version 4.5.0 is a beta version, not the stable version.  The text display issue doesn't occur in the latest stable version (4.4.7).  Are you in the beta program?
