Hebrew Visual Filters Not Working

The Hebrew text of LHI (and the various OT Reverse Interlinears) has changed to the new Lexham Hebrew Bible (note how the Hebrew text now has accent marks and the lexical forms have vowels, etc., as well as the addition of root data). The LHB uses a different set of morphology codes (Logos Hebrew/Aramaic Morphology), so visual filters will need to be recreated using the new morphologies.

Your filters use A-F morphology. What morphology does LHI use?

Thanks, Vincent, I will try recreating them.
FGH, the LHI did use A-F in Logos 4; apparently that's changed in Logos 5. No worries.

I spoke too soon, they're not so easy to recreate. I created them by following along with the Logos Hebrew videos. It appears Logos morphology does not have the same info as A-F? e.g. definite noun, divine noun. Are there any resources that still use A-F so that my old filters will still work? I haven't even finished working my way through those Hebrew videos.

You can apply the same visual filters you used to have to AFAT.

Thanks Vincent, that will have to do. Just wish it worked with the interlinear as my only Hebrew is the Heiser videos.

The only one I'm aware of is the Biblical Dead Sea Scrolls.

It should work with the Lexham Hebrew-English Interlinear.

AFAT seems to be the only one.

Any update with the Hebrew visual filter problems? Mine is not working on L5: not on the ESV or the Interlinear. Neither AFAT nor Logos Hebrew Morphology worked. Am I doing something wrong? Or is it not fixed yet?

You have to change the morphology AND the grammar (Parts of Speech) i.e. completely redo the search filter. An Andersen-Forbes filter can be quite unique and you may not find a compatible filter with Logos Hebrew Morphology for ESV and other RI's.

Logos Hebrew Morphological tagging is different than Anderson-Forbes Hebrew Morphological tags. Also found "The Hebrew Bible: Anderson-Forbes Analyzed Text" (AFAT) and Dead Sea Scrolls have Anderson-Forbes Morphological tagging. Screen shot has a copied and converted visual filter, which displays correctly in ESV on OS X:
Posted thread about Hebrew text order in Logos 5.0a on Windows plus two OS X feature parity issues => BUG: 5.0a Hebrew text order backwards in Visual Filter on Windows + OS X Feature Parity Issues

Being new to using Logos for language study, I am grateful for what you've shared in this image.
I was also wondering if you knew if it would be possible to take the same concept here, and make a Visual Filter (VF) where the ESV shows Nouns with the Definite He?
Now the ESV is no longer linked to Andersen-Forbes' Hebrew Morphology, I can't figure out how to created a VF to indicate for example, how in the English ESV "Satan" in Job 1:6 is not a proper noun/name and actually has a definite article.
I saw this done in a training video using Logos 4; and I am trying to recreate a VF that mimics it in Logos 6 somehow.
Any advice or help would be appreciated.
Blessings

The definite article is in the Hebrew text of the ESV but it is not translated. After some trial and error this search replicates the Andersen-Forbes result:
<Lemma = lbs/he/שָׂטָן> WITHIN 0-1 CHARS <LogosMorphHeb ~ A>
Just use that in a Bible Search in your VF.

Thank you Dave,
Very kind of you to help. So far I've only got ridicule on another thread for even mentioning Andersen-Forbes.
Question, is there a way to make the words "DefArt" appear (in a certain formatting color) before any word in the ESV that doesn't translate the definite article?
I'd like to quickly be to see where the English doesn't translate the definite article with all nouns, and not just with "Satan."
Again, thank you for your time and help. I appreciate it.

When you define a new Highlighting style click on Insert Text, use Text Before for "DefArt" and choose text colour from the drop down below.

That's difficult to do with accuracy due to the way the article and noun are split, so you will get some false positives with
(<LogosMorphHeb ~ A> NOTEQUALS the) BEFORE 1 WORDS <LogosMorphHeb ~ N?????>
i.e. find articles not translated as "the" before a Noun.

I believe the following Morph search will get all the nouns translated without the definite article, without false positives:
What I would like is to be able to exclude certain things from the search, for VF purposes. For instance:
I'm only interested in the nouns that come up with the qualifier, but the articles come up as well. I don't imagine Logos has this capability yet - searching for only one term using other terms as qualifiers; it seems too coarse for that kind of accuracy, and I'm not sure if the search function will ever be that refined (unless they move back to AF Morph tagging, or refine the Logos Hebrew morphology).

Thanks Dave, I'll do that. I stumbled on this post from a Google search
