Hi! I've downloaded the Logos 6 Core Engine only and am trying to install it, but it won't get anywhere. It looks like this and has for many hours:
I've currently got Logos 4, using Windows. Any advice would be great! Thanks :-)
I'd clear my browser cache and then try again. If it fails again, we may need some additional guidance.

I think Alabama wanted to be sure you were running a version that Logos 6 can install on, and you are.
I cleared the browser cache but it's made no difference unfortunately.

Yes, Windows Update is working and there are none in progress. When I cancel the set up it says "Setup was unable to download a required file."
What do I do after entering bitsadmin/list? It says (among other things): Listed 0 jobs.

Actually, there is an error with Windows Update. Trying to fix that now...
A Logos 6 prerequisite is .NET Framework 4.5, which can be downloaded and manually installed:

Thanks. I've installed that now but I'm afraid the Logos software setup is still doing nothing (I've tried cancelling and restarting it multiple times).
Have you restarted your computer? If that doesn't work, you might need to give customer service a phone call.
Clare...I'm curious if you have gotten the Logos 6 Core Engine to install, yet. Once you do, you may want to go back through this forum and read the "Scans Coming Up Empty" posts. They deal with knowing you have all your previous resources from, in your case, Logos 4 included in the Logos 6 software, and actually you can just read my last poat on that forum to get the final answer from tech support. Also, I installed the core engine over Logos 3 on my PC running Win 7 - 64 Ultimate and had no problems with the install. My wife's PC has Win 7 - 32 Ultimate and no Logos or Libronix software at all. So, I may try the core install there, to see if it goes without a hitch.
Clare...Tried the Logos 6 Core Engine install on my wife's PC and it worked completely; it went in without any glitch. Her PC runs Windows 7 Ultimate - 32 bit and is at this version: 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601. There are two installs with the core engine install. It first installs "Logos Prerequisites" and then, if that is successful, it installs the actual "Logos Bible Software". So, if you haven't got this solved, yet, did the "Logos Prerequisites" install properly?

Thank you everybody for all of your suggestions! I've had to repair a problem with Windows Update. When it could finally find updates there were 27 even though it only updated last week... It's currently still installing them. Here's hoping Logos will install without any issues after this. I'll let you know!
Update: Finally it is sorted! It turned out I had malware which was preventing Windows Update from doing its thing. That is all gone (I believe) and after doing the Windows Updates there was no problem whatsoever with Logos installing.
