Confusing Dynamic Pricing

I think this has come up on several occasions in different scenarios with dynamic pricing.  I've even asked the question of a sales representative, but it seems to be a mystery.  Hopefully the forum community can answer ...

As far as I can tell, I own every single resource listed in this collection (Ancient Philosophy Research Library].  Yes, all of them...even the presentation media.  I went through the list and compared with my library.

Yet, the webstite is saying that I could own it even more so than I already do for $7.20.  ... and last month I was able to own it for $6.12.

I've asked Faithlife via e-mail several times what the difference between what I think I own and what is offered in that collection, but it would appear that I have "stumped the band".  No response whatsoever from the sales department.

Anyone have insight?

Spend the $7.20 and see what downloads is one way.  [[But then it is your money not mine]]

Or check Noet Philosophy Presentation Media

Last month the 15% NOET introductory discount still applied.

Remember there is a 30 day return period - this is an option if nothing downloads or if you don't like what does.

    Steve,

I took a look at your account and the only resource you do not own is the Noet 6 media that is included in most Noet libraries.

    Hope this helps.

That seems to be missing in mine also [but they want $13 from me to get it]

Is Noet a separate program from Logos6 or just a set of resources similar as to Vyrso?  [[I know that the two have different objectives]]

Is Noet a separate program from Logos6

    Like Verbum:

    1. Noet has a seperate desktop application and mobile apps.
    2. There is also a separate website with a store.
    3. The Noet application is tailored a bit differently than Logos 6. Currently the differences are minor.
    4. Installing Noet concurrently with Logos requires an additional, separate copy, of all licensed resources to be downloaded and stored.

I don't believe there are currently any Noet resources that are unavailable from either Logos or Verbum desktop installations.

You are missing the Noet Media Library (which is the Noet version of the Logos Media Library). This contains mainly presentation slides that you can use for visual copy (which is different from the presentation media).

Let me know if you have further questions.  Sorry for any confusion.

I have 6000 Logos resources.  I have both Platinum and CapStone. I have not yet installed Verbum.  [will when the set Verbum command no longer works]  If I get into Noet then I will need to have 18000 resources installed instead of the number I own.  Fun!  And run three indexing runs for each upgraded resource.

I have asked before WHY not use a common location for all Faith Life resources?  The answer that I got was that at some time the two [now three] programs might not be in sync with resource file formats. All they need to do is flag the file with a format code.  Simplest way might be in the resource name. For example: KJV1900f0009  where f0009 is the format used. [[there are many reasons why this would not work in practice]]  Or the first 1000 bytes of the file could be system use codes.  [[if the first 1000 bytes don't match the file system code than the file is an old one so we don't need to download all of our files until the different systems (Logos, Verbum and Noet) need the system codes installed to tell if a file can be used]]

    I'm still confused.

I have the Noet Media Presentation in my library.  Went back and triple checked.  Looking at it right now.

Sorry all ...  I'm whining and not reading carefully.  Ben said "different from the presentation media".

Now let's see if I can keep from embarrassing myself the rest of the day.
