would love to have an actual 1611 (no "textual purification")  in my library... I realize there have been some difficulties in this area in the past, just looking for an update, maybe?

I wouldn't hold my breath, it isn't even included in the English Bible Bundle that has been in community pricing for over a year.  I think I saw a PBB docx file of it somewhere but I can't remember.

There's a PBB of KJV 1611 the Book of Matthew only here: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/48635.aspx

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

My understanding is that if you want a copy of what the translators prepared you would need the original manuscript that the committee prepared since by virtue of the typesetting methods, EVERY printed version had accidental errors introduced (usually spelling or the odd word skipped!). The next printing would cure some of the errors of the previous version but introduce errors of its own. You will find that much of the so called text purification was removal of accidental errors and using standardized spelling as our spelling was somewhat fluid at that time.
