Printing to MS Word

I just noticed that if I choose to print to MS Word, no citation information is copied into the resulting document. Am I missing a toggle somewhere, or is this omitted. If omitted, is it on purpose? As is, I need to go back to the original document and copy the (i)nformation details and/or the URL to paste them back into the new Word document.

Any additional help or suggestions appreciated.

If you have Copy Citations = Yes in Program Settings then be aware that the text you copy has to be at least 45 characters long!

Copy Citations is set to "Yes" - the text I am copying is typically an entire chapter, but no citation is being printed into the Word document. I am printing into a "New" Word document, not an existing document, if that should make a difference.

Hmm, that is odd. I can't reproduce that. I have Copy Citations and Copy Footnotes both set to "Yes". The footnotes are being exported to Word, and a citation of where this excerpt came from is also being included, though I should say the citation is showing up in the Footer of the document, not in the body of the text or as a footnote. Be sure you are looking at the document in Word in a view that lets you see the headers and footers, such as Print Layout view. If you view it in Draft view, you won't see the citation (or the footnotes). And if you view it in Reading Mode you won't see the headers/footers. Here's what mine looks like in Print Layout view (footnotes are circled in red; footer is circled in green and the text is grey):

Incidentally, I just noticed that footnote 111 from the resource is showing up as 11 in the export, which is a bug that I will report separately.

Page Layout is what I use. It is that last citation that is missing - but I did not look for citations in the text. I am using my Android tablet now. I will look at "Footnotes" option tomorrow when I have access to my laptop.

Of course, that assumes i still have my laptop tomorrow after we do taxes. [:)]
