When I try to use Factbook Logos keeps crashing
Please provide some more details:
- When you open the tool?
- When you try and look something up?
- When you look up something specific?
And please enable full diagnostic logging and post logos.log after a crash - details at https://www.logos.com/support/logos6/windows/report-problem

Graham,
Thanks for your reply. Although Logos crashed several times, after I opened up Logos using holding the CTRL button down, Factbook seems to be working fine.
Previously Factbook would open up with no problem, then crash when I tried to look something up. I tried several different individuals with the same result.
If it happens again, I'll post again.
Thanks.

Try an update now. There is another thread on which missing Factbook entries were mentioned and Faithlife indicated an update to Factbook would resolve their issue - on Mac I believe but it is worth a try.

I'm not sure if this is related to my problem yesterday, but...
This morning before I closed Logos down it was working fine. I downloaded two resources (both from Vyrso, 1 free and the other Five Points of Calvinism), let them index and closed down Logos. When I got to work, it crashed when I tried to open it up to the last layout.
I am able to open Logos if I hold down the CRTL button and open up a blank layout, but Logos crashes if I try to open up a saved layout (I tried a couple different ones). It also crashes when I try to open Factbook. I can perform searches and open resources with no problem.
I did try "update now" and am told that I have no updates.
I've attached logs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Hi Ronald,
What are you searching for in the Factbook when it crashes. One or a few examples is fine. I understand it might not seem to be a pattern to you, but knowing what searches historicaly have caused a crash in Factbook may be helpful for troubleshooting0
