4.0b Beta 1 feature adjustment request

reading plans. If you are behind, you can right-click on a day and
select “Adjust plan from here”, which pushes everything back so that
you start reading on that day.
Is it possible for this to work both ways? That is, if you are ahead it re-adjusts to push everything forward?

Would you want it to overwrite/delete the readings that you already did?

I cant speak for anyone else, but for me the first outstanding reading gets moved to today and then continues from today
I would want the end date pushed back as well... ...but it would be nice if we had option to finish on same date it could recalculate the secions in that case

I think so. Over time I tend to get ahead as I will read on when the plan breaks in the middle of a block of related text so I read tomorrows reading today. My original thought was that the last read section in the future becomes todays and is marked as read. The first unread section becomes tomorrow's reading. The end date is brought in by the number of days that were ahead.
Without knowing the internals, I guessed that you could just adjust the original start date by the delta, recompute the reading plan and then mark up to today as read.
Thanks,
Clinton
