tag highlights

Hello,
I've attempted to tag my highlights and I've figured out that I can do that. But when I want to search them I have to (as near as I know) select to search tags in my documents and I can't further refine my search.
I think it would be great if people could easily add tags to highlighted scripture and resources and then seach those tages by books of the bible or resource. This would allow users to create their own sort of topical indexes. And if there was a community way of doing this that would be awesome too. For example I could highlight all the verses in proverbs that related to the harlot and then search my tags for those verses even when they don't mention the harlot specifically since I would have those verses without the word harlot tagged.
If there is already a way to do this I appologize. I tried searching for information on tagging and watching totorials but I didn't find anything.

Hi Daniel
Have you looked at using Labels?

Hello,
Thanks for the information on labeling, however that isn't quite what I was thinking. I think tagging the biblical text and resources would accomplish something a little different. For example:
Pr 27:15-16 A continual dripping on a very rainy day, And a contentious woman are alike; Whoever restrains her restrains the wind, And grasps oil with his right hand. (NKJV)I could tag this verse and others as, foolish woman.
Pr 27:17 "As iron sharpens iron,So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. (NKJV)"
I wouldn't want to read what the verse says about iron. But I could tag is as, fellowship.
If a verse related to more than one topic I could give it several tags. Or if I was reading a book and found something useful for a sermon I could tag it as "illustration sin" or "illustration obedience"
I just think there would be some cool possibilities with tagging. That would be better than creating passage lists or documents on verious topics.
NOTE: You can already tag highlighted text. And you can search just your tags. But I can't figure out how to search a specific document for tags. It seems you have to search all your documents at once. And adding tags could be a little more convenient.

And this is the sort of thing I was suggesting you would use Labels for.
I tagged the verse as you suggested and running a search gets the results
What am I missing in what you are trying to achieve?

Hello,
Thanks for the answer. I did spend some time learning to use the Labels feature. And it may work for what I'm trying to accomplish. Here are some examples of what I tried.
In this example I created a Label called "tag" made the Attribute Name "tag" and the Value "Simon; Peter; Paul"
I ran the following search and I was able to get the results I wanted. However I had to search with ~ instead of =.
I wanted to see if there was a way to add multiple entries with the same Attribute Name but a different Value. I tried creating separate Attribute Names of "Name" and separate Values "Pater" "Paul" "Simon". But "Peter" was the only Value that created it's own entry. Paul and Simon joined each other. So the only entry I could find with the = sign was Peter. I have no idea why this happened. Does anyone no how to enter multiple names and keep them from assimilating to the same Attrubite Name entery like "Paul" and "Simon" did?Below I tried again with the "Person" Attribute Name and non of the names remained in their own field so they could be search sepately with the = symbol.
This may work for what I need once I get past the learning curve. But it would still be nice to have more controll over search documents and tags within those documents.
