Do you mean a Personal Book? If so this is currently not supported on the mobile apps.

Yes a personal book. So that's not supported? Thanks for the quick reply.

Correct. Until L6, personal books didn't sync at all (just the metadata did). In L6, manual sync was added with the addition of an "upload" button. For personal books to come to mobile, an update to the mobile apps will be required. Faithlife is pretty tight lipped about new features, and we don't know when this might come to mobile.

I know this has been talked about a bit on the forums, but for me this is the No. 1 feature I would like to see added to the iPad app…

Yes, me too! I have been holding my breath for this one feature every time an app update comes out! I know many people who are wondering how much longer until this is supported. If they can just add this feature, and the feature of being able to pull up all highlights of a particular style in a resource or in your entire library, then I would be very happy!AndyTheGreek said:I know this has been talked about a bit on the forums, but for me this is the No. 1 feature I would like to see added to the iPad app…

Make sure to cast your votes on the uservoice suggestion for this!

The last update they said on this suggestion was:
Kevin Byford said:PBB Sync for Desktop is in progress, the feasibility of PBB Sync to mobile will be examined after that is completed
Well now, with Logos 6, PBB Sync for desktop is complete, so I'm hoping that they will soon change the status of this feature from "under review" to "in progress"

Sorry what's a Personal Book? I'm trying to get my notes over to my ipad. I can see them on the documents.logos.com but can't get them to the ipad.

Paul,
Thanks for checking out the Faithlife forums.
You should be able to see notes on your iPad as long as your iPad is online long enough for your notes to sync. If you have thousands (or tens of thousands) of notes this may take a while.
If your notes don't appear, please check that notes are set to be visible in View Settings. Note visibility can be turned on or off on a per-resource basis.0 -

a personal book is a book YOU create within the desktop app. You "compile" a Microsoft word (.docx) file using the "personal book builder" tool. Currently, these personal books are unavailable on mobile.

are you logged in with the same credentials? Do you see the documents tab? Are you looking to open the document, or to see the note indicator/ highlight within a given resource? As Kevin indicated, the documents <should> automatically download to your device. The more documents you have and the larger the files, the longer this might take. If you logged in but didn't give it adequate time to download, it is possible you jammed the download que.

I assume they are the same credentials. Don't see where I can logout of the ipad app. Should I re-install the app?
I do see the Documents tab on the left side. The only thing in there is 'Read the Bible in a Year'. I'm new to this so I just created a small test note so see how this synch works. I would assume once it appears in the documents tab that the verse should get a note indicator in the bible. Any recommendations on videos/guides on this subject?
thanks

Often it helps to close the app (double press the home button, and then swipe the Logos app to close it) and then re-open it. This usually re-initiates a sync of all your documents. Give it a minute after closing and re-launching the app before checking to see if your notes are now there.

If you don't see the notes document in this tab that you see on documents.logos.com, then it has not synchronized to your iOS device. Make sure that you are logged in to the right account (you can double check in the settings window in the iOS app, it will tell you what e-mail address you are logged in as).

You can't. So if you find that you aren't logged into your account using the directions Timothy gave, yes, you will need to delete and reinstall the app.

I don't know if there are any videos on this particular subject, but you can find some here: https://www.logos.com/training/ios

Great! It would appear that you either didn't log in, or that you used the wrong credentials.
