Organizing Note Documents
Is there a way to further categorize or organize the notes documents. I usually create a new document to help me capture thoughts, ideas, outlines, etc. as I prep a sermon but then I also have other documents that are highlights in various books I'm reading. Is there an at a glance way to create a new "folder" for sermon prep documents vs. book highlights.
Or is there another system I'm not leveraging well?

I don't think you can do what you are looking for. You would have to come up with some "pre-code" system at the beginning of the note file I would think.

No way to create folders... except some users create folders in "favorites." Personally, I create various prefixes to different kinds of documents, and you could do the same. For example: I use RP to indicate a reading plan document. My highlighting document for my devotional bible reading plan looks like this:
01 — RP: NIV M’Cheyne (2015)
- "01" makes sure that it appears at the top of the list in the iOS mobile app.
- "RP" lets me know that it is my reading plan note document.
- "NIV M'Cheyne (2015)" gives me the translation, plan, and year.
I am able to sort for reading plan documents simply by typing "RP." Personally, I would not prefix resource specific highlighting note documents. If I were preaching regularly, I might make ones for sermons... perhaps "SN" for "sermon notes."

That's a helpful system 'bama - thanks for sharing it.
Why would you not prefix resource specific highlighting note documents? I probably don't know enough about them (or use them well enough to know the difference).

Simple... that is what I have most of. If I am reading in Bad Dad's of the Bible, I have a note file called "Bad Dad's of the Bible." It is self explanatory and I have one for EVERY book I have highlighted in. I guess there could be some benefit to creating a prefix... but not enough to eliminate the hassle for me. I am hoping that FL creates an option to allow highlights to go directly to "resource specific" note files, and then creates a way to hide those note documents.
If you had a way to eliminate results in the list, having a prefix on resource specific note files would be more beneficial.
By the way... I sort the documents menu by "type," then "name." This way, I can eliminate other types of documents by closing all categories other than the one I am looking for.
