Packer - "Knowing God" Prepub

Just a heads up for any Packer fans out there. His classic book "Knowing God" is now available as an audio Prepub - https://www.logos.com/product/43845/knowing-god
Of course we still don't have this as a Logos book but this is a step in the right direction. I realize that there are publishing challenges but maybe that will be next. I certainly hope so. Is anyone else hoping with me?

I guess it wouldn't surprise me, but is there a difference in copyright/whatever on audio vs written words? It doesn't make sense to me that I can listen to it but not read it...

Yes there is a difference. Still waiting to have it available in print.

Corrected My Post: I meant to Knowing God, but originally typed Desiring God
Back in the day of Logos 3, Logos had a different business model, they worked through publishing "partners". One of these partners was a one man show "non-profit" called "The E4 Group". The E4 "gave away" CD's of Logos books for a "donation." One of the books in their library was Knowing God. Although I have never heard officially, my guess is that E4 has exclusive rights to this book in Logos format.
As so often happens in these one man "ministries", these individuals imagine themselves as "beyond repute." Unless the Holy Spirit works a miracle in this man's heart only us old timers will have a copy of Knowing God in our Logos libraries.

Keith,
Are you confusing Knowing God with Desiring God?

Yeah, I can't really see the value in an audio book in Logos without the actual text.
