Hope I didn't miss this somewhere else, but the projected ship date for Tyndale is January 15.
I would guess that is a good date to count on, I got an email from another source that they had shipped my Tyndale Commentaries out today, but I did not see this earlier at Logos, but I am glad to hear it!
Now if we can get some of the Zondervan sets coming, that will be great!
In Christ,
Jim
Please tell me I am not the only one who read this and immediately went to try to jump in on the pre-pub, only to find out that I had already ordered it... Bob P. wrote in another post that Logos is debt-free, I think I know where some of it went...
Cool! It's already on my pre-pub list. A couple of other of my pre-pubs with ship dates this month, in case you haven't gotten in on them yet and would like to:

It really pays to keep a close watch on "My Account". Most items, especially the big ticket items are announced several weeks ahead of their release dates. I keep an eye on this almost daily - it takes only a moment.
I am constantly surprised at the number of complaints that have arisen over the years about something being shipped without the person being notified or with 'no warning', especially since most of the time there is also a pre-release e-mail as well. While all this automation by Logos is nice, surely we need to take some responsibility ourselves, especially when it involves our finances.
You can also do something similar on the prepub page but that's a big list and a bit more complicated to keep track of. One thing you can do is search for "Projected Ship Date" and that will find all the up and coming releases - that way is you've missed something you've wanted you can still pick it up.

Alex, it is this reason that my Logos is charged to my school account and not to my checking account, to prevent any accidental overlooking (which Mrs. Peterson does not take very kindly [;)]
that way is you've missed something you've wanted you can still pick it up.
This is a great suggestion, will you still get it at the pre-pub price?
Dave
Yes, you would still get the pre-pub price offered on that date, but I have seen those pre-pub prices go up during the time that the item is on pre-pub, so if you are concerned about getting the best pre-pub rate a person needs to order it as a pre-pub as early as possible.
Perhaps I'm missing something but right now CDB is offering this product (pre-order) for less than Logos' pre-pub pricing! ($148.99 at CDB vs. $179.95 at Logos) http://www.christianbook.com/tyndale-old-new-testament-commentaries-rom/9780830842797/pd/842797?=&item_code=WW&netp_id=648256&event=ESRCN&view=details&action=New+Ticket
Hmmph! Price wars.
Wow, thanks for the heads up. Got in for the pre-pub price. Don't know how I missed this one, probably end of last year and funds dried up. Happy New Year!
Can someone tell me a little more about this commentary set? Each book seems a little thin. What kind of coverage can be expected? Thanks!
