My indexing will not complete. I've gotten as high as 77% complete but the numbers seems to go down a little every time I run the software. I've tried restoring the index, a few times, restarting and have looked in the log. But I can't find the problem.

I'm running Logos 6.2 on a Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit, PC with plenty of RAM (16G) and plenty of hard disk space.  I am attaching a zip file from my Logos Log File. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your post with the zipped files is easier to read. We generally discourage posting the contents of the file as the files themselves are easier to deal with.

Thanks, I'm trying to get this right. I kept getting a error message upon posting telling me my post did go go through and to try later. I thought there might be a problem with the attachment. As it turns out, they were all posted. [:$]

    No problems. [:)]

It would be helpful if you could edit your previous post and delete the log you copied into the post. Logs aren't easy to read in the forums and it makes reading the thread more difficult.

Ah, yes, that is a problem all of us have at times. When it happens, you can go to the upper right corner of the post. Under More you will find an option to delete the duplicate post. There is only a short period of time in which you can delete the post. After that you can still edit it for several hours - many of us change it to read simply "accidental duplicate post". Note that you can edit the heading as well. After 10-12 hours, I think (but am not certain) that you can no longer edit.

    My indexing will not complete.

A combination of insufficient temporary file space and corrupt index.

You need at least 10GB free space on the C:\ drive. Then remove the folder D:\Logos5\Data\randomId\LibraryIndex and restart Logos.

It MIGHT be nice if Logos would check for available space before indexing.  Then it could tell us to free up space instead of just not working.

[[Also how much ram memory is needed to complete indexing in a reasonable time?]]

I think it may be. Based on some of the feedback I got here, I ordered a larger SSD. I have it but have yet to have a chance to install it. I should be able to get to it this weekend. I'll update once I do.
