How long should the lag be between adding community tags and having them appear in an Everything Search? In just under an hour, none have appeared.
It took about 4 minutes, but could have been shorter as I started searching for God's instead of <Person God's annointed one>. When I got the search right <Person Pharisees> took about 1m to find in All Text, Community Tags.
It appears the Freebase tagging may be a virtual feature - I was tagging Talmudic rabbis. Or my search for freebase items is flawed.

It looks like Freebase entries aren't sub-categorized into Person, Place, Thing, etc. It is its own data type.
I was able to get Rav Papa to show in the autocompleter by typing "<Freebase Rav Papa" and letting it suggest the completion. The completed term is "<Freebase Rav Papa [08hxtk]>". I don't know why it has the bracketed text, but doing "<Freebase search term" should work for you.

It has the bracketed text because it's an external data source that we don't control, and that's the only unique ID that it provides.
When parsing your query (e.g., after copy/pasting from the forums) we need a definitive way of knowing that we're talking about the same Freebase concept.
(For data sets that we control, we curate the English labels to ensure uniqueness.)
