How to Add Attachment Points in Notes AND/OR hyperlinking

I saw the helpful post explaining how to Attach the Same Note to Different Places, however, I am needing to attach notes to non-Bible resources.

Currently I am reading E.M. Bounds' book "The Necessity of Prayer". Bound's quotes part of a hymn,

“Lord, I cannot let Thee go, Till a blessing Thou bestow; Do not turn away Thy face; Mine’s an urgent, pressing case.”

Upon searching my resources, I discovered that this hymn is by John Newton. I would like to somehow link to this hymn in Steve Green's MIDI Hymnal by Paul Eckert (which I somehow have as a resource, but don't see it listed on the logos site.)

So, to complicate my question(s)...

1. How do I discover the attachment points for non-biblical resources? (I do not even know how to locate the code names for the books.)

2. In this particular case, some type of hyperlink would probably be better than a note. (In fact, Bounds rarely uses any scripture references when quoting the Bible so I have been adding "notes" with the scripture references in them but without any actual comments. So the ability to hyperlink to a scripture reference might even be a better solution.)

The spirit of a pilgrim greatly facilitates praying. An earth-bound, earth-satisfied spirit cannot pray.--E. M. Bounds
