Textual Searches
When you perform a Bible Word Study and the section entitled Textual Searches appears at the end of the section, what texts actually get searched? For example, under the heading Pseudepigrapha, which texts are being searched? It seems to me a bit hit and miss...I just did a search for the word ἔσοπτρον and only one hit was found (in the Testament of Job), when I know there are more (eg. Odes of Solomon 13). It doesn't seem to search the Apocrypha, and when the "classics" are searched, is it limited to the Perseus collection? Even from a NT perspective, what is being searched? And so on.
Thank you in advance for anyone able to shed some light.

Actually, my questions still remain...but please disregard my Odes of Solomon example. I've been doing word studies all night...and getting tired...too many searches going on in my head. Of course, the Greek word for mirror wouldn't occur as Ch 13 was only extant in Syriac (feeling silly).0

OK, I just realised also that the hits under the LXX heading are in fact the Apocryphal references I was after...but still, it would be handy to know exactly what is being searched in all instances

It will use your highest Prioritized resource for LXX, Apostolic Fathers, New Testament, etc. otherwise it will use Logos' default prioritization.

Thank you very much for your reply Dave Hooton...I see now I need to add a lot of original language texts to my priority list...not just the English translations, to increase this function's effectiveness. This is by far my favourite tool in Logos (even if I'm not quite smart enough to use it...lol).

If you click on the searches themselves, it will open a search panel that will, tell you which resource/collection was being searched. If it's a system collection (like "Greek Classics", or "Biblical Dead Sea Scrolls"), and you want to see what resources are in that collection, when edit the search so that it is searching for something that would be found in all the resources (e.g. @N) in Analysis view, and group by resource. You'll have to manually select the correct morphology.
All of the data that behind all this is in the library catalog, but unfortunately it's currently inaccessible within Logos.
