[unresolved] BUG: Most Recent Layout - Local (MAC)

I have reported this at various times since late L4 or early L5... There is a bug where "at startup open to most recent layout - local" doesn't work... and opens to another installations layout instead. If I remember correctly, the issue has been elusive to devs, so I bring it back up again. I opened up my desktop installation (which rarely gets used at this point) and it opened to the layout I just used on my MacBook Pro. The first two screen shots are from my desktop... the third (forthcoming) is from my MacBook. Logging was NOT enabled on my desktop, so I closed it, turned on logging and reopened. I don't know if the logs will be of any use. FYI - My MacBook is "up to date," my desktop was running 6.1 sr-1.
Here is my MacBook Pro Layout:

I found the old case for this problem I think. Can you grab a set of logs the next time it happens and post them? Do you have multiple machines all using the same start up setting or do other machines have a different setting?

I have three machines, but really only use one. My iMac was getting long in the tooth so I bought a Mac Mini to replace it. If I had an office, I would use the desktop more often... but I normally just use my laptop. Logging was enabled on the iMac and MacBook Pro, but not on the mini... I did check for logs, but there weren't any so I enabled logging. If it happens again, I will grab logs.
As for the settings... Is that a local setting, or does that preference sync?

Thanks for your concern. [:P] I think I have everything back up and running. [Y]
I normally keep logging enabled, but the computer I created this thread for was newish and I forgot to enable logging. If it happens again I should be able to provide those logs. The issue has always been random for me and other than this incident, I haven't noticed the issue in a while.
